What would God say during an economic crisis??? [part five]

Today we are wrapping up this series of posts by talking about generosity.

I think we can safely assume that, to God, generosity is always a great idea!

Here’s how Paul put it in 2 Corinthians 9v6-8 [TNIV]

6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. [Emphasis added]

We can be generous with others because God has been generous with us! God has blessed us for a reason…and it’s not so we can feel blessed, but so he can bless others through us.

I have never received a gift with God’s name on it. It has always come through a person…a person God used to make a difference in my life.

What about us?

God has blessed us.

Who does he want us to be generous with?
