I ran upon this quote a year or so ago, and I have found it to be very thought provoking. I would love to hear your thoughts on what this would mean or look like in our lives if we really took our faith seriously.
To be a witness does not consist in engaging in propaganda, nor even in stirring people up, but in being a living mystery. It means to live in such a way that one’s life would not make sense if God did not exist.
– Cardinal Emmanuel Suhard
What does it mean for us to be a “living mystery”?
How can we “live in such a way” that our lives would not make sense outside of our relationship to God?
Glad to see you’re blogging. We enjoy them so much.
