As most of you know by now, this is my first post in…well, November. I have been slammed with stuff to do the past couple weeks, but I am making a commitment to get back to posting on a regular basis.
To play a little catch up…here are a few things that I am really excited about right now…
1] The “Seriously?” series is going well. We have been looking at several difficult, strange sayings of Jesus and asking the question, “What if Jesus was serious?” This coming Sunday we are going to look at one of the most difficult commands Jesus gives us…stay tuned for more!
2] Our Christmas series [beginning December 07] is going to be a lot of fun. The series, “MCC Presents: Christmas at the Movies”, will use some of our favorite Christmas movies as a spring-board to talk about some really important truths that Christmas brings to us.
3] It is playoff time! Our Butler County Bears finished the regular season 9-1 and have a very winnable game in round one of the state playoffs. I hope we bring our “A” game Friday night!
